Seven Stones Charity
On behalf of our clients, and with the help of Oxfam, we have been stocking school libraries full
of books in countries where access to reading material is very limited.
So far we’ve filled five libraries with books in places like the Ganda Nayak High School in the Daikundi Province of Afghanistan.
Girls’ education was severely restricted under the Taliban. Now, while girls do attend school,
their education is still considered less important than that of boys. At Ganda Nayak, both girls
and boys have access to the books in the library. For Zahra, a teenage girl who attends the school,
“it’s a dream come true”.
We hope our libraries will help to open new chapters for children like Zahra, now and in the
years to come.
